Trygg Lek offers bark as fall protection at schools, playgrounds, parks and residential buildings. Play bark has a slow degradation which makes it economical to lay out, in the long run. TL Play Bark is made of pine bark. The material is fresh bark. Premium consists of 25-35 mm bark pieces which are pure picked from other fractions.
At a playground, accidents are easily encountered. To avoid damage, it is important to ensure safety. Part of maintaining a high level of safety is to measure the cushioning ability of the substrate. We can proudly say that we sell HIC-tested play bark with certificates from an EN1177 accredited laboratory within the EU.
Our bark has PEFC certification. Swedish PEFC’s forest standard aims to develop economically sustainable and valuable forest production, biodiversity while preserving cultural environment and social and aesthetic values. Read more about Swedish PEFC here.
Our bark may be used in Nordic Ecolabelled projects.
TL Play Bark is sold in fractions 20-40 and premium 25-35.
At installation, the thickness of the bed must be 400mm thick to meet the requirements for drop height from the play equipment.
